Unfortunately there is a shortage of skills at the top end in the channel, technically people are highly focused, but there is a lack of dedicated solution architects which have an direct impact on the success of the largest projects. There will soon be a complete curriculum around how to do solution architecture, which will be released around Q2 this calendar year. Приятно что они это поняли, но не очень понятно как они будут с этим бороться и что это за "Complete curriculum".
Я бы сказал, чтобы успешно соотносить продукт и бизнес надо:
1. Хорошо знать продукт, включая внутрнюю, недокументированную логику.
2. Пристойно (пусть и не в совершенстве) представлять клиентский бизнес.
3. Иметь в голове некоторую библиотеку паттернов проектирования. Ну например - в платежах и заказах пишется ссылка на X,Y,Z и в момент сопоставления эти X,Y,Z проверяются/влияют на разноску/используются как тэг для сопоставления. (Паттерн не универсальный но применимый).
Не очень понятно - как они этому могут научить...
Хотя возможно - в понимании Микрософт, solution architect, это просто человек который может сосчитать конфигурацию сервера и нарисовать огромную блок-схему в каждом квадратике которой - очередной серверный продукт Микрософт
Тогда этот complete curriculum - не интересен мягко говоря.
