Источник: https://stoneridgesoftware.com/prepa...nd-operations/
==============

The process of getting up to speed with D365 is going to vary based on your team and which version of Dynamics AX you were previously on. In this article, we’ll take a look at each role within your organization and best practices for getting that team ready for an upgrade to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Developers

Developers are one of the more highly impacted roles in theDynamics 365 world. There is an entirely new architecture in place for them. Theextension-based architecture will change the mindset of your developers sothey’re going to want to get very familiar with it. At Stoneridge, we offer adevelopment class quarterly that helps developers understand the new eco-systemwithin Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

What was previously called Visual Studio Team Services isnow called Azure DevOps and is the sole development environment for Finance andOperations. Developers that are traditional C# developers are going to be morecomfortable out of the chute with the new architecture, new approach, and newtools.

Technical Team

The move to the cloud may be a big change for those managinginfrastructure-related maintenance today. It’s important for this team to getcomfortable with Azure DevOps for all your code deployment management andenvironment management. This team should also become familiar with Azure –specifically the SQL database and virtual machine management.

Business Analysts & Process Subject Matter Experts

Business analysts, process subject matter experts, and endusers with AX experience will be familiar with most functionality withinFinancial and Operations. However, the user interface has been updated andcurrent AX users can take advantage of the free trial or formal training togain hands-on experience with Dynamics 365. There are new ways to navigate thesystem, new processes, and new features to discover.

Upcoming Finance and Operations training classes are listed on our website. If you’re interested in personalized training for your team on your specific system, please contact us.
