industry cloud options for financial services and retail, which bring together Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365 offerings..
Cloud for Retail
Microsoft Cloud for Retail will enter public preview on March 31, promising retail insights, smart store capabilities, e-commerce options, demand generation, post-purchase and fulfillment capabilities. The offering crosses over with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Bing for Commerce, Dynamics 365 Fraud Prevention and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
Lindsay Berg, director of Industry Product Strategy and Planning for Microsoft told Ignite attendees:
As part of the Microsoft Cloud for Retail public preview, we're bringing in the new intelligent recommendation service, which leverages AI, deliver more relevant and more personalized recommendations based on user behavior and real-time interactions with the store. This recommendation service also allows you to bring in features like shop similar looks, making it even easier for customers to find what they're looking for. I can tell you that what we're seeing with shopper behavior is that, that ease of locating the next thing really is becoming critical.
